We've partnered with a thriving, local company who is seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Representative to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to blend technical expertise with sales acumen, driving customer success and contributing to the growth of their organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their business needs and challenges.
  • Solution Selling: Present and demonstrate technical products/services to clients, clearly articulating how they address customer needs.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our products/services and their applications, staying updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Sales Strategy: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, prospecting, and lead generation.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver customized proposals, quotes, and presentations tailored to client requirements.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure solutions meet client specifications.
  • Customer Support: Serve as a technical resource, addressing customer questions, concerns, and providing post-sale support as needed.
  • Sales Metrics: Meet and exceed sales targets, maintaining accurate records in the CRM system and preparing regular sales reports.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with the construction industry preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, relatable way.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events, up to 25%.
