Job Description

Seeking a Senior HVAC Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on innovative HVAC system development. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a technical environment and enjoys mentoring engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small team of HVAC engineers.
• Oversee the development of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Apply thermodynamic principles to the design and evaluation of heat pump cycles.
• Support projects involving VRF systems and transcritical CO2 technology (experience in these areas is a plus).
• Work closely with design teams using SolidWorks or similar CAD tools, and HVAC modeling software like Carrier HAP, Trane TRACE, or Client software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10+ years of HVAC engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, AHRI, UL, CSA, and other regulatory standards.
• Deep understanding of mechanical systems and thermodynamic processes.
• Proficiency with CAD and HVAC design software tools.
