Job Description

Senior Product Designer

Miami, FL (preferred onsite w/ flexibility) | Remote okay if non-local

Reports to VP of Digital Product

We’re not building another insurance app.

We’re flipping the industry on its head.

At our AI-powered brokerage, we’re reimagining how small and midsize businesses access and buy insurance. It’s complex, outdated, and painful today—and we’re here to make it fast, human, and intuitive.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who’s hungry to design the future of insurance. Someone who thrives on big problems, messy challenges, and the chance to put bold ideas into the world.

About the company:

As the brand new business arm of a Miami unicorn financial services company, they're a fast-growing, AI-powered insurance brokerage reimagining how small and midsize businesses access and experience insurance. By combining proprietary AI tech with deep industry expertise, they're building smarter, faster, and more accessible solutions that empower small and midsize business owners to make confident decisions.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • 100% employer-paid healthcare
  • Extremely competitive base salary DOE
  • $60 monthly stipend for cell phone
  • Beautiful, central office in Brickell with company-paid parking, commute & schedule flexibility
  • 401k eligible on first payroll. Company will match up to 4% of gross pay
  • PTO in first year accumulates 120 hours in first 12 months
  • 14 annual holiday days: 13 scheduled and 1 floating holiday

What You’ll Do

  • Conceive, pitch, and design innovative features that transform the way SMBs interact with insurance.
  • Own the full design process—from ideation to execution—including visual design, interaction design, prototyping, and storytelling.
  • Create elegant, intuitive user flows and beautiful interfaces that simplify complex decisions.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Leadership to bring strategic ideas to life.
  • Advocate for small business owners—identifying needs, simplifying processes, and improving products continuously.
  • Communicate design decisions with clarity and influence across the company.

What We Need

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
  • A portfolio showcasing your work and strong design skills
  • 4+ years experience designing and shipping applications
  • 4+ years experience using design tools (like Figma)
  • Great attitude - have to work/collaborate well with others

You Might Be a Fit If…

  • You’ve got exceptional design chops —visual, interaction, and everything in between.
  • You can prototype fast in Figma (and whatever else gets the job done).
  • You think like a designer + product manager , and you’re not afraid to play both roles.
  • You’re a clear communicator who can rally a room around a design decision.
  • You’re comfortable in chaos and energized by speed, ambiguity, and big goals.
  • You want to design things that actually get used —not just pretty decks.

Why Join Us?

  • You’ll be designing in one of the largest, most broken industries out there—ripe for change and AI-powered tech.
  • Your work will touch thousands of small businesses and reshape how they protect what they’ve built, who they love, and what they care about.
  • Miami HQ is buzzing (new Brickell office, panoramic penthouse-level city views), but we’re flexible if you’re remote.
  • We move fast, we back big ideas, and we’re building a team of game-changers.
