One of our top clients is looking for a Top-Secret Space Systems Engineering Lead to support a small team onsite at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This position is contract-to-hire, onsite 5 days a week, and compensates $75-85+/hour depending on years of experience, education, and skillset.
The Lead will support their mission integration branch to help review SOWs, technical documents, and provide feedback on design reviews. They will help to lead system engineer activities and PM activities like drafting contractor schedules, risk assessments, and analysis of the program overall. They will assist with enterprise requirements development and collaborate with SWAC, CSRO/S5R, and PEO offices to define and prioritize integrated requirements for SATCOM, PNT, Missile Warning/Tracking, TacISR, SBEM, BMC3, Launch, and more.
