About The Role!

We are seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Subcontractor Coordinator to join our growing team. This role plays a key part in managing subcontractor relationships, supporting procurement efforts, and maintaining accurate project data across multiple construction projects.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Procore or similar construction management software, strong attention to detail, and a passion for building relationships within the construction industry. You will be responsible for sourcing and maintaining the directory communication with subcontractors, as well as supporting project teams by organizing and optimizing subcontractor data and documentation. This role serves as a critical link between the field, project managers, preconstruction department and the subcontractor network—ensuring smooth coordination and successful project execution.

What You Will Do-

  • Communicate regularly with subcontractors to maintain relationships, confirm participation, and support pre-construction and bid-day needs.
  • Assist in business development efforts by sourcing new subcontractors and expanding the company’s subcontractor base.
  • Maintain up-to-date subcontractor records in the Procore directory and support procurement workflows, trades & cost codes across projects.
  • Plan, attend, and represent the company at trade shows, subcontractor fairs, networking events, and occasional site visits.
  • Contact subcontractors to solicit bids, distribute bid packages, and ensure bid coverage across trades.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in Procore platform usage, especially for project management and procurement workflows, preferred.
  • Skilled in customer service, professional phone etiquette, and marketing techniques to effectively communicate the value of building strong relationships.
  • Knowledge of construction industry practices & trades especially around procurement and document control.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent relationship building skills with client and subcontractors.
  • The ability to develop & maintain relationships with subcontractors.
