Job Description:

Intrinsic is looking for a skilled and self-motivated Technical Project Manager that lives and breathes Agile Scrum. As technical product owner across the Sky product suite, you’ll join a highly talented software team in building modern web applications, machine learning models, and containerized edge solutions for the Aerospace industry. Specifically, clients will use our technology to more seamlessly perform their jobs. You will join a product team and work closely with capable, talented software engineers and end users. This is a significant opportunity to implement a product suite from the ground up. As a team member, you will:

• Define technical requirements from client feature requests
• Develop detailed technical product backlog while refining and continuously and prioritizing the backlog
• Manage team agile events and contribute to unblocking software tickets
• Work closely with the Intrinsic Product Director and Chief Technology Officer
• Lead an experienced delivery team of modern M&S engineers in an Agile setting
• Leverage Intrinsic's modeling and simulation expertise to create exciting features and products for our customers that make a difference
• Design, build, and deliver a new product to an emerging marketspace
• Work on a dynamic, adaptable, and high performing team
• Dive in and rapidly grow your skills with the latest technology

Minimum qualifications:

• A DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance is required for this position
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, similar technical degree field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing rising talent in software technology
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• A keen sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising teams
• Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
• Experience leading team building and deploying production code
• Knowledge of web application and microservice architectures
• Software development leadership experience with one or more general purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript, or Go
• Familiar with Git in a team environment
• Experience working with one or more of the following: web application development, DevSecOps product development, distributed and parallel systems, information retrieval, developing new software applications, and/or secure software development
• US Citizenship

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, or similar degree field
• Agile scrum certifications
• Experience building and shipping products
• 2+ years of relevant experience in software development using Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization strategies
• 5+ years of software development experience, with emphasis on backend application development
• 3+ years experience with modeling and simulation software
• 3+ years web application, API-driven, service-oriented architecture experience
• Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, such as Extreme Programming (XP)
• Interest and ability to learn emerging technologies as needed
