Comunilife Inc. is looking to fill a Program Coordinator position for its Life is Precious, Long Island, NY location. The Program Coordinator for Life is Precious™ is a non-clinical suicide prevention afterschool alternative program for Latina teens ages 12-17. Responsible for directing the overall operations of Comunilife Life Is Precious Program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to management, planning, program development, implementation, monitoring and budgeting. The Program Coordinator will perform evaluations and maintain Comunilife policies and procedures, quality assurance, utilization review and outreach activities. The Program Coordinator will collaborate with the Sr. Vice President of Programs to assure quality psychiatric and psychosocial assessments are conducted prior to referral to the Life Is Precious Program. Essential Duties:
Education and Experience Requirement(s)
Master’s Degree in Social Work or Psychology is required; LCAT preferred. Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical supervisory and administrative experience. Clinical experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus.
