Job Description

Airswift is looking for a Safety Coordinator to work with one of our major energy delivery clients on a 1-year contract, located in Westwood, MA.

• General auditing of job sites to ensure compliance with all Federal, Local, and company-specific Health & Safety plans.
• Responsible for performing and documenting the audit process with corrective actions for findings pursuant to company process.
• Participate in weekly update calls with the Safety Team.

• Understanding of the company's Contractor Safety Policy.
• Knowledge of the company’s operational practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of construction site safety is required.
• Specific knowledge of local and federal regulations (OSHA and DOT) safety laws, and State Departments of Public Safety requirements as they pertain to electric utility industries.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations as well as sound safety management principles and practices.
• Knowledge of Distribution & Transmission operations and associated electrical, construction practices, and renewable energy practices is highly desired.
• Experience with field project support.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• Strong project leadership skills.
• Willingness to work independently as well as with teams.
• Willingness to build rapport and credibility with both management and the skilled craft workforce.
